We
take bookings for car rentals in Crete and arrange for these to
be delivered and collected from your arrival and departure
airport. We provide you with a hassle free service and all
you do is to get into your car and proceed to your chosen
accommodations. On delivery of the car we also provide you with
detailed instruction on how to reach your destination.
If you prefer we can also deliver the car to your hotel,
apartment or villa anywhere and anytime on the island.
When
on holiday you really do not need the problems associated with
poor rental service, or the risk of extra expenses should you
encounter damages when driving, or if it is damaged while parked
in the streets.
We
only cooperate with companies that offer the best service and
insurance, we want you to have peace of mind in order to fully
enjoy your holiday.
Insurance
The rental includes fully comprehensive insurance with no
self risk, free kilometres, road map and service all over
the island, within the insurance policy, you are also covered
for any damages to the wheels, tyres, screen, mirrors and
the under carriage of the vehicle. (Greek insurance does
not normally cover wheels, tyres and the undercarriage).
Rental
and payment
You can book your car anytime and the price quoted is the price
you pay. If we cannot deliver the booked car, we offer you a
similar car within the same or a higher category at no extra
cost. The fee for delivery and pickup at the airport is 30 euro.
Delivery anywhere else will be by prior arrangement and charged
according to distance.
On
delivery
You sign the rental agreement, the insurance contract and pay
the rental price agreed, you must produce your passport and
drivers license, this applies to all persons that will be
driving the car. (please note that we do not charge any extra
for a 2nd or 3rd driver).
The
car is delivered with a roadmap, and you will receive
information on how to reach your destination. Please note the
amount of petrol in the car as you would be required to give it
back with the same amount of petrol as is quoted on your rental
agreement.
Please
beware
If you find a cheaper offer on a rental car or motorbike, please
be sure to check the coverage of the insurance, and also that it
is actually included in the rental price you are quoted, don’t
be shy to ask. Also be aware of the small print on the back of
the agreement, sometimes it will take you at least 30 minutes to
read and digest the way it has been written.
Some
of our previous clients have had very bad experiences with
discount rental companies. E.g.:
- The
car delivered was not the one ordered when booked. And not
accepting the car offered would mean losing your deposit.
- The
insurance CDW was not included in the price.
- There
was no insurance or a considerable self-risk on the most
common damages such as small dents, cracked mirrors, chipped
screens and tyre damage.
- The
service anywhere on the island was not included thus
subjecting you to unexpected expenses if there was a problem
with the car while driving.
