The house has a large patio with wooden furniture and just a few steps below the patio and a stone built barbeque. There is a 40 sq metre swimming pool with steps. From the pool you can also enjoy the views to Souda Bay. The house stands in a very large plot of 18,000m2 with panoramic views in all directions.

Living room and bedrooms
This spacious house is very well equipped with air-con in the ground floor,  2 x 2 eye cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, sandwich maker, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a washing machine.

The ground floor holds the kitchen, dinning area and sitting area with a fireplace. The house is furnished traditionally with Cretan country side furniture and is very comfortable. The bedrooms are located in a traditional Mezzanin type closed gallery with windows with mosquito nets in the bedrooms to secure the fresh mountain breeze during the summer time.

The area
The large village of Kalives, 3.5 kms away has many shops and is quite lively, bank facilities, hairdressers and a large number of tavernas are all within walking distance from the centre of Kalives, here are also sandy beaches and a river running into the sea.

Almirida´s sandy beach is only 7 kms from the house. Almirida is famous for its fish tavernas, there are cafe's, shops and supermarkets. All sorts of water sports, fishing, diving, surfing water-skiing is available here. The area is good for mountain biking and hiking.
